I’m not a psychiatrist, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Therefore, I can offer the following interpretation regarding the visual image your son has created of you. First: he hates his mother and father. Any fool can see that! The bright orange an intense black color selection screams for attention. This is a Rorschach Test moment. The hair, in the shape of a buffalo, tramples on his rights of expression and creativity.The wide, skinny arms serve as a lasso to limit and encircle him. The six spindly legs reinforce his primal fear of insects and your tapdancing on his hopes and dreams. The beady eyes, pug nose and huge mouth illustrates his concern with your grimacing looks and constant need to berate him with sarcastic comments.
Either that, or he just is not old enough yet to fine tune his artistic abilities!
I love that he has captured most of the elements of my favorite movie. All that is missing is the
lion and the ruby slippers….(I’m still sick you know)..
